 I WASN'T ALWAYS IN THIS POSITION...

 I had a complete dead-end job. It was terrible. I absolutely hated my job. You know, it was that type of job that on Sunday evening, when the sun went down, I'd get that sick feeling in my stomach, because tomorrow morning, was Monday, which meant back to the rat race. Had to wake up early. I had to fight through traffic. I had to deal with the pressures of work and the politics and it sucked!

I was  33 years old and stuck in a situation that I didn't like. I had a brand new baby girl, who I wanted to spend more time with, but was unable because of this dead end job. No matter how hard I worked, I still made the same amount money. There was no commission structure or anything like that. Literally, if I busted my butt and I killed it, I'd make the exact same amount of money.

I couldn't stand the politics of my boss was a jerk. It was amazing because it didn't matter how hard I worked or what I did, because it was never good enough, never ever good enough. I got so sick of that. I was just scraping by living month to month. Actually I found that there was "more month than money". Meaning I'd run out of money around the 23rd 24th of the month,  and I still had another five to six days left and I go into panic mode and that sucked.

I found myself where I'd start to get a savings and then something would happen. It seemed like everything was a difficult everything was a struggle, nothing went my way. I would get some money and then all of a sudden the transmission would break down. The new tires or the sprinkler would break or something would happen that I'd had to pay for.

And I couldn't wait till Friday!

You know, if it's nice outside, you put the windows down, you get the fresh air coming in, you're driving down the street, you're going home. Why? Because you're free for Friday, Saturday and Sunday and you're excited to go do the things that you want to do with your family do whatever is going to make your heart desire.

That's all I had to look forward to each week....Fridays. But even then, when I would run out of money during the month, I would have to sacrifice that weekend time that I love to spend with my family to go work.

I was living month to month.
I hated my job.
I hated the income I was making.
I needed a change!

THEN ONE DAY MY LIFE

CHANGED FOREVER...

Like I said, I was living month to month. I was in a situation where it was close to the end of the month and there was an appointment that I had to take on a Saturday afternoon .

Now I wasn't too happy about going to the appointment because weekends were the time I could spent with my family, but this particular Saturday, I took the appointment so I could make some money. So I was driving down the freeway listening to the radio flipping through the radio stations and, here in Phoenix there 620 kr which is a sports station. And at this time this was roughly in end of April May. And in that particular time there was really nothing to listen to but baseball.

So I'm sitting there flipping through the stations and I turned to 1510 kf&n which is a financial news radio and and there was this guy, and he started talking about a very unique and profitable concept that I never heard before.

He talked about wholesaling houses, or flipping houses where you could make ridiculous amounts of money quickly.

 He was telling stories about these people that were just like you and I, that didn't have any background in real estate, and they got started and were making checks of $5,000 $10,000 in less than 30 days.

 

When I heard this this guy explaining this concept and all these people making money my initial thought was this is too good to be true there's absolutely no way it could happen this is a scam this is illegal. 

I turned the channel and I started trying to look for some sort of sports something to listen to other than this guy telling me how you could make all this money flipping houses. I was literally laughing.

I was like, there is no way... what a scam... this guy's going to jail! (LOL)  I was so skeptical I turned the station. Now remember, I was broke  and was living month to month.

I thought you had to have great credit.

I thought you had to have a pile of cash to be able to get involved in real estate.

I thought the only way you made money in real estate was to purchase the property and then rent it out for cash flow over time. 

So I'm driving down the freeway, and I had this gut feeling like God was slapping me upside the head saying "listen boy", turn the channel back and listen...pay attention you idiot!  I turned the channel back.  I continued to listen to what this guy had to say...
